The Sportsmans Warehouse Skins Lake to Lagoon Fun Run and Family Cycle has been going since 1972 - making this just one year short of the famous City to Surf Fun Run. The event in 2011 is on Sunday 11 September - is FREE and includes the unusual mix of family cyclists, runners and walkers.
The regional drawcard attracts more than 4,000 people, and over 200 volunteers from service clubs combine to make the day another memorable one in the annual calendar.
In partnership with the Wagga Wagga City Council - the event is coordinated by a small but dedicated team of volunteers who enjoy massive support from other volunteers on the day.
For many, the Lake to Lagoon Fun Run and Family Cycle is an iconic regional event not to be missed every year – and as such is part of the fabric of the community.
